Jennifer d'Entremont
— Jennifer d’Entremont —
Jennifer is a Canmore based artist, holding a BFA major in printmaking from the Alberta University of the Arts (formally ACAD). Through colour, shape and placement, her abstract works draw comparisons to human relationships. With a combination of printmaking and painting, the outcome is a mix of hard edged mingling with soft painted shapes.
She has participated in various international art calls, notably receiving an Honourable Special Prize for the 2016 “Enter into Art Mini-print” competition. In 2018 she took part in an artist residency in Spain, exploring a new-to-her form of printmaking known as Mokulito. She is active in the arts community, serving on the Canadian Mountain Arts Foundation Board as well as various art focused committees.
