“We both agreed that The Hive was the obvious choice for our event (we did look at several other venues as well). Cheryl
was amazing, taking an active role in the planning, negotiating pricing with vendors to stay on budget, and being very
responsive to any questions or requests we had. Ben, our bartender for the evening, was extremely professional and
engaging. The catering staff was wonderful, the food was perfectly executed and the perfect amount (almost zero waste!),
we received so many complements on the delicious food throughout the evening. The gallery was a huge hit with
everyone, they really enjoyed the outdoor patio areas looking out at the mountains and the unique space and beautiful
rooms full of art.”

“They really put effort into identifying the kind of function we wanted, making suggestions and finding the
right caterer for the style of food we wanted. I provided a few Pinterest pictures of what I had in mind for the
table settings, and result was exactly what I had wanted, but better! The venue itself was great, we had
dinner out on the deck and it was absolutely beautiful. There are lots of different spaces, as our wedding
was quite small (around 30) we were able to use different parts of the space for cake-cutting, dancing etc,
and the guests also enjoyed looking at the beautiful art. I would absolutely recommend the Hive for a small
wedding or other function.”

“During the week before the wedding, we were in constant communication with Cheryl. She was
finalizing all of the small details with us regarding the caterer, the DJ, the live music, and the flowers.
There were a few last-minute changes that she was able to handle professionally and gracefully. The
Mead package includes flowers provided by the venue – Cheryl does an amazing job of the arbour,
tabletops, and throughout the gallery. We were blown away by the amount and variety of flower
arrangements. Cheryl also allowed us a rehearsal for the family, and provided complimentary drinks
– a lovely touch on a beautiful evening. On the day of the wedding, the groom’s room was stocked with whiskey and water, while the bride’s
room was stocked with water and an emergency basket for all last-minute touches; it was the
amount of little touches that made our experience at The Hive so special. After the ceremony, we
were greeted with a prosecco toast and dark chocolate treats (the groom has a dairy allergy, so
Cheryl went out of her way to ensure he was able to enjoy them).”

“Had a medical School reunion there with about 25 old friends. We wanted to eat, drink and hang. This was PERFECT!
No sit down dinner, but great finger food (as an example, beef Wellington on blueberry sauce!!!). Wandered around the
beautiful gallery, many places to sit and talk, an outdoor balcony with fireplace, HOT CHOCOLATE, beer, wine, just an
absolutely great evening. Everyone felt like (and was treated like) a million bucks.”

“The Hive is a beautiful facility with an interesting layout that lends itself well to smaller groups hosting events.
The artwork is top notch, and the décor of the wedding itself was put together beautifully. They provided amazing flower
arrangements. Staff members accommodated our guests with specific food restrictions, and ordered/picked up 2 meals
from a local restaurant. This was going above and beyond as I expected needing to ask a family member to do this. The
Hive hired an exceptional bartender to work the main bar. I had nothing but positive interactions with her and received
good feedback from our guests. I will also say that our guests generally had a good time, enjoyed the venue, and had fun
with the adult paint room.”
